Frequently asked questions

When orders are packed and marked as ready in the warehouse, they automatically flow into Locate2u's dispatch and route optimisation engine. Routes are calculated, drivers are assigned, and customers are notified, all without manual handoff. This eliminates the gap between warehouse operations and last-mile delivery that exists in most separate systems.

Locate2u supports barcode scanning for inbound receiving, put-away, pick and pack, and outbound dispatch. Staff can use handheld scanners or mobile devices with built-in cameras. The system supports standard barcode formats including Code 128, Code 39, and QR codes.

Yes. Locate2u's warehouse module supports multiple warehouse locations from a single dashboard. You can track inventory across all locations, transfer stock between warehouses, and optimise dispatch from whichever warehouse is closest to the delivery destination.

Locate2u generates optimised pick lists for warehouse staff based on pending orders. The system supports batch picking (multiple orders at once), wave picking (scheduled batches), and single-order picking. Staff scan items as they pick to confirm accuracy, and the system tracks completion in real time.

Yes. Inventory is tracked down to the specific warehouse location: bay, shelf, and bin level. When stock is received, it is assigned to a location. When stock is picked, the location quantity is updated in real time. This granular tracking enables cycle counts, put-away optimisation, and accurate stock visibility.

Yes. You can configure minimum stock thresholds for any SKU. When inventory falls below the threshold, Locate2u sends an alert to the relevant team. You can also set up automatic reorder suggestions based on historical consumption patterns and lead times.
