Frequently asked questions

You send new drivers a branded onboarding link via email or SMS. The driver opens the link on their phone, fills in personal details, uploads required documents like their licence and insurance, accepts your terms and conditions, and completes any required training modules. The entire process is guided step-by-step and typically takes under 15 minutes.

Locate2u can collect any document you require: driver's licence, vehicle registration, insurance certificates, ABN or tax ID, working rights documentation, background check consent, and any custom documents specific to your business. Each document type can be set as mandatory or optional.

Once a driver is onboarded, Locate2u automatically monitors document expiry dates. The system sends reminders to drivers before their documents expire and can automatically deactivate drivers whose documents have lapsed. A compliance dashboard gives you a fleet-wide overview of all driver statuses at a glance.

Yes. The onboarding portal can display your company logo, brand colours, and custom messaging. You can also configure which fields and documents are required, add custom terms and conditions, and embed training videos. The experience looks and feels like a part of your own platform.

For businesses onboarding multiple drivers at once, Locate2u lets you send batch invitations via email or SMS. You can track each applicant's progress from a central dashboard, see who has completed each step, and follow up with drivers who have not finished their onboarding.

Locate2u can collect background check consent as part of the onboarding flow and store the results. Integration with specific background check providers depends on your region and requirements. Contact our team to discuss your specific compliance needs.
